The Trophy Club of Apalachee, located 40 minutes from North Atlanta, is a challenging, par-71 course built to the soft rolling hills of North Georgia. The layout contains a variety of challenges, from the 230 yard, par-3, 13th to the short 290 yard, par-4, 8th. The Apalachee River meanders through the property with water coming into play on several of the holes. The layout is end to end with no holes running parallel. With a slope of 137 and a rating of 72.5, the back tees, at 6,620 yards, give all the golf that you could want. From the Bermuda fairways, which are overseeded with Rye in the winter, to the Crenshaw Bent Grass greens, make for great playing conditions year round. If you are in Atlanta and wish to be challenged, come play a round at the Trophy Club of Apalachee, but bring a straight tee shot or it will make for a long day of golf. |
